Enjoy our bumper August edition!

Jetstar A32LR is here!

It’s been a long time coming! Last Sunday we finally welcomed our first A321LR into our Jetstar hangar. VH-OFE touched down at 9.20am and its arrival marks a huge milestone in Jetstar’s history, and a significant moment for aviation in the country, with Jetstar the first airline in Australia and the Pacific to operate this version of Airbus’ popular aircraft.

The NEO will lift the bar on comfort for you and your customers, fly longer distances, enable Jetstar to operate directly to destinations that our current A320 fleet can’t and importantly deliver a more fuel-efficient way to fly. All of which will help make travel even more affordable in Australia. Check out this amazing aircraft for yourself and your customers.

Jetstar will be operating the A321LR from 12 August from Melbourne to Cairns. From September you can experience the aircraft on our Melbourne to Gold Coast Route!

Vaccination requirement removed for International flying.

  • From last month the Qantas Group no longer require passengers on international flights operated by the Qantas Group to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • This follows the Australian Government removing the COVID-19 proof of vaccination requirement for international travellers coming to Australia.
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 may still be required by certain countries, so passengers should check the requirements of the country they are travelling to. For more information on requirements for international travel, click here.
  • Masks remain mandatory at the boarding gate and on board all Jetstar flights unless you're under 12 years old (Jetstar Airways), under 6 years old (Jetstar Asia) or have a medical condition that exempts you.

A tantalising taste of Cook Islands life.

Rarotonga is a quintessentially Pasifika paradise, combining blindingly white sand, impossibly blue ocean and vibrantly green jungle with the warm, welcoming hospitality of the Cook Islands people. It’s the perfect getaway for nature lovers, thrill-seekers, families or just those who want to relax in a tropical wonderland.

Take advantage of the island’s bountiful lagoons or spend a day cooling off in its mountainous interior. Get to know Cook Islands cuisine at one of the buzzing local markets, where you can enjoy tropical fruits, fresh seafood and local specialities such as rukau (a dish of taro leaves and coconut sauce). End the day by watching an idyllic sunset framed by palm trees.

Jetstar flies to Auckland daily and from Auckland to Rarotonga three times per week with fares from NZD 449.00* per person and Rarotonga to Auckland three times per week with fares from NZD314.00* per person.
