Please stay up to date with Jetstar at https://newsroom.jetstar.com/

We hope you enjoy.

International

Jetstar is now operating to Bali, Fiji, Singapore, Hawaii, Thailand and Vietnam. Other international destinations including Japan, South Korea are available for 2022 travel dates.

Services between Australia and New Zealand (Auckland - Gold Coast) are set to resume on 13 April 2022, as fully vaccinated tourists and Australian or New Zealand passport holders will be allowed to travel into New Zealand without the need for managed or self-isolation from 11.59 pm on 12 April.

Services between Auckland and Melbourne and between Auckland and Sydney will take off from the beginning of May 2022, whilst services to Christchurch, Wellington, Queenstown and our Rarotonga flights are scheduled to resume in June and July.

Please be aware that international destinations may have specific entry and travel requirements in place. International flights remain subject to Government and Regulatory approval.

Thailand

Thailand holidays are back with January seeing Jetstar’s first flight to Phuket since 26 March 2020. Operated by Boeing 787-8 aircraft, the flights from Sydney operate three times per week and twice weekly from Melbourne.

Today also marks our return of Jetstars flights into Bangkok, with our direct service from Melbourne.

Bali

Melbourne to Denpasar

On Monday 14 March, more than 300 passengers took off on Jetstar’s first flight to Bali in two years this morning, with travel restrictions for international visitors to the island easing. Taking off on a Boeing 787 aircraft, the close to sold out flight marks the first time Jetstar has flown to Bali since flights were grounded on 26 March 2020. Jetstar’s flights from Melbourne will initially operate three times weekly, with plans to ramp up as demand increases. Bali flights from Sydney and Perth recommenced last week with flights from Brisbane, Adelaide, Cairns and Darwin scheduled for May.

Perth to Denpasar

Jetstar are very excited to return to Bali from Perth after two long years. We took our sold-out inaugural flight last Friday back to the Island, giving Jetstar confidence that Bali will continue to be as popular with Western Australians as it was pre-pandemic. The daily return flights will depart Perth at 7:25am and arrive in Bali at 11:05am, while the return flight departs Bali at 11:50am, touching back down in Perth at 3:30pm AWST.

Flights will ramp up to twice daily from 1 June, offering 2400 seats into Bali each week.

Seoul

Jetstar will launch direct flights from Sydney to Seoul’s Incheon International Airport later this year, providing low-cost travel options between Australia and Korea.

Jetstar will become the only low-cost carrier to fly direct to South Korea from Sydney, with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner flights operating from 2 November 2022 three times per week.

Ho Chi Minh

On Thursday 07 April, Jetstar returned to one of Australia’s most popular international holiday destinations, Vietnam.

An additional two weekly services from Sydney started on Saturday 9 April. Vietnam was one of the fastest growing holiday destinations in South-East Asia pre-pandemic, and we have seen strong bookings since Vietnam reopened its border.

Not forgetting our new and exciting domestic destination!

Busselton-Margaret River region

Melburnians can now enjoy direct flights to Western Australia’s Margaret River Region, with the long-awaited first commercial flight taking off early April with a full load of passengers on board. The launch of the direct flights comes after a two-year delay due to COVID border restrictions and marks the first time a commercial airline has ever linked the east coast with Busselton Margaret River Airport - the gateway to one of Western Australia’s most sought-after tourism regions.

The three-per-week service will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft, carrying up to 50,000 travellers between Busselton and Melbourne each year.
