Dear Valued Agent,

In this ever changing environment here in Australia, Jetstar would like to remind you once again of some important information when making bookings for you and your clients.

  • In the current travel environment it’s never been more important for Jetstar to have contacts to reach our passengers.
  • With border opening and closures our schedule is being regularly adjusted.
  • Contacts may also be needed for tracing in the event of a covid-19 positive passenger on board a Jetstar flight.
  • Now more than ever we need your compliance with our Travel Agent Terms and Conditions which require Jetstar to be provided a contact to reach the passenger directly.
  • You can check and add a contact through Manage My Booking on Jetstar.com or through live chat with our Industry Support Team


Baggage Limits


Jetstar’s checked and carry-on baggage allowance depends on the fares and bundles purchased. Regardless of the fare or bundle, Customers travelling on Jetstar can pre purchase a maximum of 40 kilograms checked baggage per person.

Where a checked baggage allowance is exceeded, excess baggage is then charged per kilo. Once at the Airport, we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to add excess baggage to a flight.

Safe handling of baggage is also a priority for us, so no single bag or item can weigh more than 32kg. If any single bag or item weighs more than 32kg it must be carried as freight.


Meal service Onboard Jetstar Flights for September.


We wanted to let you know that Jetstar won’t be able to offer our standard meal and drinks buy on- board service for the month of September. We know drinks and snacks are a part of travel our customers look forward to, so we're hoping to reinstate the service soon.

Pre-purchase before you fly is still possible to pre-order food, and cabin crew will provide your selection on board.

Great snack deals are available for pre-purchase up to 24 hours before departure via Manage My Booking.

You’re welcome to bring food and drinks on board If you prefer. Just make sure they fit within your carry-on allowance and be aware that you won’t be able to bring hot drinks or drink your own alcohol on board.

If your booking includes catering you will receive a snack and your choice of a hot drink or bottle of water inflight.
