Jetstar Update

Dear Valued Agent,

Thank you for all your support through 2022. Despite a few (Covid) challenges along the way, Jetstar have resumed flying to all our ports and even introduced a few more. The team at Jetstar look forward to working with you through 2023 as we continue our growth plans for our network.

In the December issue of our Jetstar Newsletter we offer some handy tips to assist those travelling over the busiest Christmas period for the first time in three years. Exciting times for us here at Jetstar as we took delivery of our second A321neo LR.

Plus, do you fancy a trip to the beautiful Cook Islands? From Mid 2023, Jetstar will offer direct services from Sydney to Rarotonga. We are also delighted to share with you our new inflight food and drinks menu.

Enjoy our update.

Busy Travel Times ahead.

Some handy tips to assist you and your customers as Jetstar prepare for the busiest Christmas period in three years. 15,000 flights are scheduled to take off over five days, with 11,000 of those operating out of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Airservices Australia chief executive Jason Harfield said all efforts are being made to ensure the smooth passage of pre-Christmas flights, including daily meetings between airlines and the Bureau of Meteorology to plan for proposed weather patterns and working with air traffic control towers to ensure they're equipped to manage the increased traffic in regional flights. As a Group, we have invested $200 million to ensure we're prepared for the Christmas period - including rostering more crew and training new recruits.

Where possible please ensure you check-in online through Jetstar.com or the Jetstar App, prior to airport arrival. Pre purchase checked baggage prior to check-in to avoid the more expensive fees charge at the airport. Importantly ensure you have allowed enough time to compete bag drop and security check with time to spare. See here for further information.

Jetstar's second A321neo LR joins the fleet

Our second Airbus A321neo LR VH-OFL arrived into Melbourne this week. Our engineers will undertake final checks before it enters into service. Our first NEO is delivering up to 20 percent fuel and carbon emissions savings and receiving great customer feedback. The NEOs allow us to offer more low fares by keeping costs low and providing extra capacity and greater resilience to our operations. A further two Jetstar A321neo LRs are set to enter service by January.
