Dear trade partners,
We’re thrilled to share some good news! Last Friday we operated our first international flight since early April, recommencing flying between Auckland and Sydney. From 16 October until 30 November 2020, we’re operating three return flights per week between Auckland and Sydney. While quarantine-free travel is only one way at this stage, for New Zealanders travelling to Australia, it’s still a significant milestone and we’re proud to play a part re-uniting family and friends and re-starting travel in the region. For more information visit our newsroom.
AKLSYD joins a number of domestic routes re-launched by Jetstar in recent weeks, including:
- Sydney – Uluru
- Sydney – Darwin
- Hobart – Gold Coast
- Adelaide – Sydney
Please note, both Australia and New Zealand have specific and separate entry requirements. Please carefully check the more detailed information on our Jetstar’s Travel Alerts page to fully understand the international border requirements for Australia and New Zealand, as well as current domestic Australia travel restrictions.
Buy on board menu returns
From Tuesday 20 October customers will once again be able to make inflight menu purchases on all Jetstar (JQ) flights. Click here to see our updated menu offering a range of light meals, snacks, hot & cold drink and alcoholic beverages.
Feedback was loud and clear that the inflight menu was missed so be sure to let your customers know it’s back and please remember, inflight payments can only be made on card.
Best regards,
The Jetstar Sales Team
