Welcome to the first addition of the Jetstar Trade Newsletter for 2022.
May the New Year bring you all health, happiness and passengers in the Air!
In this month’s Newsletter, Jetstar are celebrating “Queensland is open” We fly to so many Queensland ports, there is sure to be one or more for your passengers when getting back to the Sunshine State.
We also take a look at why you can confidently sell flying as an option to your valued customers, with the risk of in-flight transmission of COVID very low. Along with Jetstars suite of onboard wellbeing measures, designed to further protect you & your customers health while flying.

Spectacularly bordered by the Coral Sea and Pacific Ocean, Queensland is home to UNESCO-listed wonders Fraser Island, Gondwana Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. This diverse and magnificent landscape lures holidaymakers to Cairns, the Gold Coast (aka 'Goldie', the country's theme park capital), Hervey Bay, Port Douglas, the Sunshine Coast, the Whitsunday islands and the lush Daintree Rainforest. Brisbane, the buzzing state capital, is just 100km north of neighbouring New South Wales.
Resource-rich Queensland is a paradise of tropical fruits: bananas, pineapples and mangoes are the state's bounty, along with grains, cattle, cotton, sugar cane, wool and a laundry list of precious metals and minerals. Native fauna can be found in abundance at Alma Park (Logan City), Currumbin Sanctuary, David Fleay Park, Kumbartcho Sanctuary, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo and UnderWater World.
'Banana benders', as Queenslanders are affectionately known to the rest of Australia, are passionate about rugby league, union and cricket (in that order). The rugby State of Origin series is widely considered a religious experience.

Our food and drink offering
From wine and cheese to a kids' snack and activity pack or a full dinner, we offer a variety of in-flight meals. Menus vary depending on flight length, aircraft type and destination – short flight dining focuses on light bites while long-haul international flights feature two meal services to keep you satisfied.
Food isn't included with our Starter fares, but you can still pre-purchase a meal on selected flights or choose from the on-board menu. With most of our bundles, you'll have food and drinks, in-flight vouchers or an In-Flight Meal Deal included.
You can purchase something to eat on board all Jetstar Airways (JQ), Jetstar Japan (GK) and Jetstar Asia (3K) international flights. We recommend you pre-purchase to get the meal of your choice. Please note that credit card payment only is accepted for all DOM AU flights.
