Jetstar Update

Dear Valued Agent,

From 15 February Jetstar is changing gross fare levels and remuneration amounts paid.

Booking date Gross fare mark-up and remuneration (AUD)
Domestic and short haul international International long haul
Before 15FEB21 $10 $25
From 15FEB21 $5 $10

Agents who opt in to sell Jetstar gross fares will be provided fares with mark-ups as per the table above and Jetstar will remunerate back the mark-up amount at the end of each month.

Gross fares can be booked through Jetstar’s Agent Hub and API.

Remuneration is paid by bank transfer or through BSP.

To be eligible for remuneration, you must be located in Australia and be a registered agent with Jetstar:
  • Once configured for gross fares, all bookings made via the Jetstar Agent Hub and through Jetstar's API attract remuneration
  • GDS and Call centre bookings are not remunerable
  • Gross fares attract a fixed remuneration per passenger segment sold as per the table above
  • The mark-up and remuneration amount will differ for bookings where the base currency is not AUD (e.g. an agent in Australia selling a domestic NZ fare will receive NZD $5 per passenger segment converted to AUD at time of remuneration payment.)
  • Remuneration amounts may change from time to time so please check our remuneration page for updates

Participation in gross fares is optional and isn’t available to online travel agents.

If your agency isn’t registered for gross fares but would like to be, please have your business owner/manager email sales@jetstar.com providing your IATA, TIDS or Jetstar organisation number.
