Greater flexibility when using credit vouchers

More time to redeem vouchers issued due to the impact of COVID-19

Jetstar have extend credit vouchers issued as a result of COVID-19 disruptions to have an expiry date of December 2022. As Jetstar’s flights are published up to one year in advance, this means customers will be able to use their vouchers for travel up until December 2023. Extensions of unused credit vouchers were processed through March and April with customers receiving an email with the extension confirmation back to the email address attached to their voucher. Multi-use vouchers can be used across multiple bookings - any outstanding credit from one booking can be used towards another. Customers can check their remaining credit amount and voucher expiry by visiting the voucher balance portal.

Multi-use Vouchers

All new and existing unused travel vouchers issued due to the impact of COVID-19 on travel by Jetstar Airways (JQ), Jetstar Asia (3K) and Jetstar Japan (GK), are now multi-use vouchers. These multi-use vouchers can be used across multiple bookings - any outstanding credit from one booking can be used towards another. Customers can check their credit amount by visiting the voucher balance portal. All other credit vouchers issued for reasons not listed above will be single-use only. Customers should refer to the full Terms and Conditions.

International Travel

The Federal Government has revised its anticipated timeline for the completion of Australia’s vaccine rollout to end-2021 and its timeline for significantly reopening international borders to mid-2022. As a result, Jetstar will review its planned international flights from end-October 2021 to late December 2021 (excluding trans-Tasman). We will continue reviewing these plans in the lead up to December and provide further updates as circumstances evolve.

Have a question about flight cancellations, changing flights or vouchers? Please visit our COVID-19 Help Hub.

To all our valued agents, traveling is all about the actual journey. Being flexible is key!

We look forward to welcoming you and your passengers onboard Jetstar.
