Dear trade partners,

From Thursday 23 July all customers and crew on flights to and from Victoria will be required to put on a face mask before boarding and wear masks onboard. Passengers will be able to remove the mask for a short period of time to eat and drink during the flight.

Masks will continue to be provided by Jetstar as part of our Fly Well initiative or customers can choose to wear their own masks.

Jetstar’s Travel Alerts page will be updated accordingly and an SMS is being sent to the mobile phone number in bookings travelling to and from Victoria. If you receive this SMS could you please forward it to your customer to avoid any surprises on arrival at the airport.

The Victorian Department of Health and Human Services will continue to undertake temperature and ID checks at Melbourne Airport for all departing travellers.
